OVERVIEW
The Spring Floods in the US & China are why those giant river valleys are such fertile farmland. Without these floods this farmland wouldn't be as rich or as productive as it is. In the US; Today we use a lot of chemicals in food production and these floods present major public health problems because of them. The Cancer rate increases the further down the Mississippi you go, this is especially true among Africans who live near the river.
Before we killed most of them off: The Plains Indians migrated with the season for a reason for this reason. Winter near the south, summer up in Canada, they followed the Buffalo herds. The spring floods may do a lot of damage. All these levee's are artificial barriers that humans have put-up and therefore will fail. People ask Mother Nature first, before you build! It's called the Mighty Mississippi for a reason.The existence of GOD got a vote of confidence from the American people this week. If the public's [70%] religions followers think there is more than one way to reach salvation why isn't that a national policy.
It's not only the US Government that does stupid things. In India a man was arrested and his son taken away because he rescued an orphaned bear and was feeing it home. In some good news; a Chinese pig was found alive after 36 days buried in SICHUAN Earthquake quake rubble. Strong Pig.
Astrology pre-dates all religions and has no quarter with any of them. Everyone is entitled to believe whatever they want, no matter how inane or stupid that belief may be or seem to be to others. People can believe and do whatever they desire; As long as they don't hurt anyone or cause damage to property in the process.
The beginning of spiritual beliefs started when some early humans finally were conscious enough to notice the daily changes of their outside world. These smart guys [the gurus, mystics, shamans, sages, mediums, etc. ] observed that there were patterns to the daily changes. The patterns repeated themselves according to mathematical formulas. That's why Astrology was developed. IT IS: Duodecimal mathematics.
