Secondary Ascendant

The Secondary Ascendant, the ancients most esoteric and mysterious Astrological information was rediscovered by Carl Payne Tobey. Like most brilliant mathematicians, Tobey got his vision from Mother Nature while walking across a vast Arizona desert valley one fall afternoon. He realized that the shadows created by the Sun moved roughly twice as fast, if he moved toward them versus if he was standing still and viewing those same shadows.

Tobey has been working with the Arabic Parts for many years but it took this insight from nature for him to finally realize that the Arabic parts were part of a shadow chart or mirror image chart. And that this Arabic Parts chart, shadow chart had an Ascendant too and Tobey called this shadow charts Ascendant the Secondary Ascendant. This will only work if the Astrologer uses the Equal House Ssytem.

The formula for calculating the Secondary Ascendant is to add the Ascendant to the Ascendant and then deducting the Sun position. The Arabic Parts Chart or Secondary Chart is less effective if the native has their Sun close to Ascendant or on a major angle to the Ascendant.

Check it out. You'll find that the Secondary Chart and the Secondary Ascendant explain a lot about many people and that this information was formally missing from Astrology, hidden by the ancients.
