This is the so called Baby Boom generation those who were born
when NEPTUNE was in LIBRA.
Unfortunately most sociologists don't know ASTROLOGY so they begin the Boom after the war
ended and extend the period for the Baby Boom generation until 1964; that's incorrect.
NEPTUNE was well into SCORPIO by then, 1964 and creating many different influences in
society. The influences of NEPTUNE in LIBRA are what ended the World War II. That new
found idealism then permeated society. When NEPTUNE was in LIBRA many things happened in
society besides all those war babies being born.
WW II came to an end, remember the WAR was going on in Europe and
Asia since 1934, so it was 11 years long by it's end in 1945. EISENHOWER the LIBRA War
hero became the first LIBRA United States president in 1952. The United Nations came in to
existence in 1945 and has lasted since. Slowly the good ideas and ideals of NEPTUNE in
LIBRA have come to pass as normalcy in this civilization. 54 years and counting without a
WORLD WAR, let's keep that going.
Twin [at that time] military superpowers developed in the world;
USA vs USSR. EAST vs WEST was also the political balance. In 1952 for the first time the
United Nations itself became an actual war participant [Korea].
The A-BOMB, H-BOMB and Nuclear Power all became realities as well
as hideous demons threatening our lives.
What are we going to do
with the Nuclear waste?
Mathematics is the basis of LIBRA. Nuclear reactions are only
possible with very accurate and detailed Mathematical calculations. Another mathematical
invention, the Television became a household necessity and the first computers came alive
during the time that NEPTUNE was in CAPRICORN.
CIVIL RIGHTS became a forced reality in the United STATES.
Other important ideas and ideals from the NEPTUNE in LIBRA period
are equality of the sexes, looking at the complexity of the human mind and behavior
[humanistic psychology, equality of all peoples. [the US seems to keep having trouble with
this one]
The world in general has not had world war since the one that
ended when NEPTUNE was in LIBRA. Let's hope that continues for a long time.
