Bechtel Group Inc., the world wide construction giant has received more than $2 billion in loans and grants, government insurance, and foreign-aid contracts in this decade. Allied Signal Corp has received more than $150 million in similar aid. Archer Daniels Midland Co., ADM, has received over $3 billion in corporate welfare since 1990. In 1996 ADM was convicted of price fixing in the animal feed business. ADM gives millions to both political parties.
