Regarding your views on HIV-Aids, I have to say that I am in total agreement with you. The girls I have known over the last 15 years have not died, they’re still in the business (although, of course, age reduces activity).
My wife, who started in the business 10 years ago, has just given birth to a beautiful daughter. Extensive blood tests carried out on both wife and baby have revealed to traces of anything untoward.
So, apart from having to disagree with you on the inevitable marital future of go-go dancers, I am in total agreement regarding the risk of HIV and the so-called inevitable progression to Aids.
B.T.: Though I understand both sides of the HIV-Aids controversy as much as a layman can, it is more from observation than reading that I’ve come to hold the minority scientific/medical view.
After 15 years, the alarming predictions of the majority view aren’t coming true. Prostitutes and their clients aren’t dropping like flies to the dreaded disease and there’s no sign of a pandemic. Maybe next year or in five years or a quarter-century hence, but not now. I do strongly advise using a condom (latex) to prevent conception and VD (STD).
