Aquarius rules the
7th House
The 7th House is ruled by AQUARIUS in the LEO - 1st House system.
The 7th House is ruled by LIBRA in the mathematically incorrect ARIES - 1st House system.
This fact has been stated above. AQUARIUS is ruled by URANUS. All three [AQUARIUS, the 7th
House and URANUS] have the same basic meaning which involves adaptation, change or
involvement.
The 7th House is definitely the House of Marriage because Marriage
is a big change. Marriage is a major commitment and a new adventure in life for most
people. But, the 7th House ruled by AQUARIUS is not most of those other attributes
normally associated with the 7th House. Lawsuits and "enemy's" being the notable
exceptions.
The difference between a relationship and a marriage is huge.
Relationships just mean intimacy where as a marriage means legal responsibility, a totally
different set of circumstances. Marriage is a very big change for everybody because the
Establishment is now involved in your life. Lawsuits again have the Establishment involved
in your life. Enemy's associated with the 7th House are a nebulas concept that probably
has to do with unforeseen change that inevitably happens to people and which they
incorrectly blame on someone, somewhere.
AQUARIUS equals changes and relates to the opposition aspect in
ASTROLOGY. Planets on the cusp of the 7th House are in opposition to the ASCENDANT. Any
planet in opposition to the ASCENDANT will have a major affect on those native's
personality. The opposition aspect is thought by many to be malefic when in fact that is
not necessarily the case. An opposition aspect to the ASCENDANT signifies changes
throughout life. If you want things to be smooth and boring, you will think the aspect
bad. If however you seek excitement and new challenges this placement will delight the
native.
